Short, honest and readable — so we both know exactly where we stand. Ticking the Terms box when you send us your details, and paying your deposit, both mean you've read and accepted these terms.
1 · What we do
Mawqeena designs, builds and publishes websites — through done-for-you packages and the Mawqeena AI Studio — and on request offers related services such as domains, hosting, updates and custom automations. Paid work is done as agreed in writing on WhatsApp. We are a website design service — not lawyers, accountants, business consultants or a licensing authority — and nothing we say or build is legal or business advice.
2 · Permits, licenses & compliance are your responsibility
You are solely responsible for obtaining any trade license, e-commerce license, permits, registrations or approvals your business or website activity requires (wherever you are based or sell — for example, in the UAE, federal and emirate-level requirements), and for VAT and any other tax obligations. We create and sell the website as you request it — whether you are permitted to run the business it promotes is entirely between you and the authorities.
3 · Your content is your responsibility
Texts, photos, logos, menus, prices, offers and claims you give us (or approve) are yours. You confirm you own them or have permission to use them, and that they are accurate and legal. We are not liable for copyright or trademark issues, misleading claims, or fines arising from content you provided or approved.
4 · Payments — 30% / 70%
Work starts after the 30% deposit. The remaining 70% is due before launch or file handover. If you cancel before work begins, the deposit is refunded in full; once work has begun, the deposit covers work already done. No remaining balance is ever due for a website you haven't approved.
5 · Scope, revisions & timelines
Each package includes the features and revision rounds listed on this page. Anything extra is quoted in credits (1 credit = AED 100) and only done after your approval. Delivery times are good-faith estimates and start once we've received your deposit and your content.
6 · Hosting, domains & third-party services
Hosting platforms (including free ones), domain registrars, WhatsApp, payment gateways, booking tools and other external services are run by independent third parties and follow their own terms, policies and pricing, which can change at any time. We set them up and integrate them on your website for you, but we don't control those companies or platforms and are not responsible or liable for their outages, updates, platform or policy changes, or fees. Domains are registered in your name — renewals are on you.
7 · Ownership & portfolio
Full ownership of the website files transfers to you once the final payment is made. Until then, all work remains ours. We may show the finished website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
8 · Limit of liability
Our total liability for anything related to a project is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that project. We are never liable for indirect losses — lost profits, lost customers, business interruption, fines or penalties from regulators, or claims by third parties.
9 · Custom AI & automations
Custom AI assistants and WhatsApp automations are built on request under a separate written scope and follow the terms and privacy policies of the underlying AI and messaging providers.
10 · AI Studio drafts
Studio drafts are generated by AI from your answers and files and can contain mistakes — check every detail before you publish. Sample reviews or names the AI adds are placeholders that you must replace with real ones or remove. Anyone with your share link can view the draft, and drafts expire 30 days after the last change. Free AI edits, the edits included with a deposit and daily AI capacity are limited; when capacity runs out, the Studio builds from your answers in template mode. A downloaded file keeps a small “Built with Mawqeena Studio” credit.
11 · Privacy & your files
We use what you share only to build, deliver and support your website. The contact form asks for your WhatsApp number and email so we can reply to you; they go only into the enquiry that opens in your own WhatsApp, and this page does not save them. Uploaded photos are kept for 30 days from upload; the document text you confirm is kept with your draft, which expires 30 days after the last change; document files themselves are not kept. Your phone number and email are never sent to the AI. To build in the Studio you give your WhatsApp number and email (both required) and tick that you agree to these terms; we keep them, with the date and version of the terms you accepted, only with your draft, which expires 30 days after the last change. They are never sent to the AI and are used only to contact you about your site. By default they also appear in your site's contact section, which anyone with your draft link can see; you can change or remove them there at any time. When you send your summary from the Studio (you tick a separate consent box for this), it reaches us on WhatsApp and a copy is emailed to us. This site loads no third-party scripts and never asks for card details.
